  Art Print Series #9 : James Victore : $250.00

We're honored to have “one of the greats” in the studio this week. James Victore has created some of the most visceral, thought-provoking posters of the past 20 years, and continues to shock and awe with work for clients including the NAACP, the Anti-Defamation League, the Coalition for the Homeless, Human Rights Watch and International A.N.S.W.E.R. Selections from Victore’s influential body of work were recently requested for MOMA’s permanent collection.

While in Austin James burned a trail through the studio, leaving a charred path of dayglo paint, india ink and duct tape in his wake. The resulting print was as challenging as James’ work; we destroyed five screens in the process of laying down this 17 layer serigraph.

If you live under a rock and aren’t familiar with Victore’s work, watch the linked interview by Hillman Curtis, and check out all of Victore's work at jamesvictore.com.

We couldn’t be prouder of this print. Not only is it beautiful, but also a great reminder that while art manifests itself in many forms it’s most importantly a tool to create culture and affect change in the world.

Each print is on heavy archival paper, signed, numbered and embossed. This is an edition of 100 with 80 available for purchase. They are $250 plus shipping.Follow the process by clicking the view process buttons to the left.
