| Promotional poster for the band’s stop here in Austin. The group’s newest album has drawn comparisons to The Cure, and rightfully so— they craft beautiful, poppy melodies juxtaposed with lyrics exploring darker subjects. In chatting with the band you quickly realize any vocal similarities are less a product of mimicry and more a coincident of accent and singing in their second language. Maybe all Swedes sound a bit like Robert Smith?
